In what was made known via Instagram as a distress call, Azeez Ijaduade was in the early hours of Sunday reportedly shot by a police officer, leaving him wounded and at the mercy of God and the medical practitioners at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ipreu, where he was admitted for treatment.

A close associate disclosed this, Abiodun Adebanjo, on his Instagram handle @iamabiodunadebannjo who raised public awareness of the incident.

It was captioned, “Please we need help in Iperu. My director, Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, was shot by a Nigeria Police personnel.

“Anybody with the contacts of the Police IG or Commissioner should reach out.”

While this is a developing story, supporters and fans have taken to social to wish him a quick recovery as he’s still under medical attention, with no analysis of his health status known yet.
